JAZZ SIGNS JEFFERS TO SECOND 10-DAY CONTRACT
The Utah announced that the team has signed rookie guard/forward Othyus Jeffers to a second 10-day contract. Jeffers signed his first 10-day contract with the Jazz on March 4 and has appeared in two Jazz games since, averaging 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 2.0 minutes per game. When the Jazz signed him from the NBA Development League's Iowa Energy, Jeffers became the 18th D-League Call-Up to the NBA this season, and second by the Jazz. At the time of his call-up, Jeffers was averaging 14.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 steals while shooting.510 from the field through 22 games (16 starts) with Iowa this season. Jeffers had led the Energy to a D-League best 30-9 record in his second season with the team, reaching double figures in scoring 18 times and registering a double-double in four games.

Mike Harris recorded his 16th double-double with 36 points and 18 rebounds while Will Conroy recorded his eighth double-double with 15 points and 15 assists Larry Owens led the 66ers with 34 points, five rebounds and nine assists while Oklahoma City Thunder-assignee Byron Mullens picked up his sixth double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds.
The Mad Ants were led by Dan Dickau who finished with 21 points and six assists. Oliver Lafayette and Sean Sonderleiter contributed 18 and 17 respectively as Rob Kurz finished with a double-double, 10 rebounds and 11 pointsSioux Falls' Alexander Johnson led all scorers with 25 points and 18 rebounds. Leemire Goldwire scored 16 points off the bench as Greag Stiesman chipped in 12.
Earl Barron posted a double-double for Iowa scoring 14 points while pulling down a game-high 16 rebounds. Curtis Stinson led the Energy in scoring with 20 points to go with six assists while teammates Pat Carroll and Cartier Martin both scored 19Morris Almond led all scorers with 29 points for Maine while teammate Russell Robinson scored 15 points to go with six assists.
Lester Hudson led the Wizards in both points (18) and rebounds (9) on the afternoon. Romel Beck also contributed 13 points for Dakota Austin's Dwayne Jones had a monster game, scoring 18 points and pulling down 19 rebounds. Eddie Basden also had 17 points for the Toros.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
22 players with NBA D-League experience competed in eight NBA games last night, five as starters.
As a starter for Sacramento, Donte Greene scored 19 points, to go with eight rebounds and three assists as the Kings defeated the Timberwolves 114-100.
Starting for Charlotte, Stephen Graham scored 12 points and added six rebounds.
