D-LEAGUE POWER RANKINGS
We are less than a week away from the NBA D-League Showcase and the Austin Toros are the new number one team after winning eight straight games. They lead the Southwest Division while Colorado 14ers, on a four-game winning streak of their own, are in second place at 9-3.
The Bakersfield Jam continue to lead the West Division by one game with a 10-3 record. The Idaho Stampede are on game back with a 9-4 record, including a 5-0 home mark. The Utah Flash will host the Showcase next week and are in third place with a 6-7 record.
The Central Division remains very competitive with three teams within a game of the lead. The Iowa Energy maintain the league's best winning percentage at 8-1, while the Sioux Falls Skyforce are a half game out of first at 9-4. The expansion Erie BayHawks are 8-4 and one game out of first place, while the Dakota Wizards have won six out of seven games and are only two and a half games off the pace.
