SPURS RECALL ANTHONY TOLLIVER

The San Antonio Spurs announced that they have recalled Anthony Tolliver from the Austin Toros. Tolliver appeared in six games for the Toros this season where he averaged 17.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 38.3 minutes. He was assigned to the Toros on 12/12. The 6-8, 240-pound Tolliver was signed by the Spurs on 7/23. He has appeared in 11 games for the Spurs this season, averaging 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per contest.

BLAKE AHEARN RETURNS TO DAKOTA WIZARDS

The Dakota Wizards announced that they have reacquired Dakota Wizards guard Blake Ahearn following a month long stint with the San Antonio Spurs. Ahearn played in three games as a member of the silver and black and averaged 2.7 points in 6.3 minutes. Ahearn was also the first player in D-League history to be called up to an NBA team and Assigned to their D-League affiliate in the same year. While with the Spurs affiliate the Austin Toros, Ahearn averaged nearly 19 points and over 6 assists in six games.

FRIDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Friday's games

The Mad Ants point guard, Walker Russell Jr. led his team with 23 points and 7 assists. Coleman Collins tallied 18 points and nine rebounds, and Chris Hunter contributed a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Erie's Erik Daniels also notched 23 points, while Oliver Lafayette recorded 12 points and 13 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.

Patrick Sanders scored 23 points and Curtis Stinson had a triple-double with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for the Energy. Courtney Sims and Cartier Martin scored 18 points apiece and Sims grabbed 15 rebounds. Kendall Dartez scored 24 points and Trent Strickland added 20 to lead six players in double figures for the Vipers.

Los Angeles guard Joe Crawford and Frank Williams of Sioux Falls both led their teams with 22 points apiece.

Marcus Williams registered 23 points for the Toros and Charles Gaines added 15 points and 17 rebounds. Malik Hairston recorded 19 points for Austin, while Andre Brown netted16. Carldell Johnson dished out 10 assists. David Noel led Albuquerque with a game-high 24 points. Cory Underwood chipped in with 17.

Boston Celtics' assignee J. R. Giddens and Bakersfield's Derrick Byars both finished with 25 points. Giddens and Andre Ingram combined for 48 points to lead the Flash. Trey Johnson recorded 20 points and Terrance Thomas picked up 17 points as a first time starter with the Jam.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games

30 players with D-League experience competed in 12 NBA games last night, nine as starters. Here are the highlights:

Louis Williams scored a game-high 26 points off the bench for the 76ers, as they defeated the Wizards 109-103.

Andray Blatche tallied 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds as a starter for Washington.

Kelenna Azubuike finished with 13 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Golden State Warriors.

Miami's Daequan Cook contributed 14 points in 19 minutes of play in the Heat's win over the Lakers.
