MONDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Monday's D-League games
v Eric Osmundson led the way for Colorado with 32 points while Eddie Gill and Justin Cage each chipped in with 21 in the win over Rio Grande Valley. Roderick Riley scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, and John Thomas scored 13 points and pulled down 12 boards.
v Rio Grande Valley was led by Desmon Farmer's 40 points as Jesse Smith contributed with 19 in the loss to Colorado.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games
19 players with D-League experience competed in seven NBA games last night, four as starters. Here are the highlights:
v Fresh off his assignment with Iowa, Daequan Cook scored 23 points in 43 minutes for the Miami Heat.
v Rafer Alston scored 12 points and Steve Novak finished with 11 for the Houston Rockets. Alston and Novak were two of four players with D-League experience to contribute to the Rockets' 19th consecutive win last night.
v Louis Williams finished with 10 points, to go with six rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes for the Philadelphia 76ers.
GOLDEN STATE MAKES MOVES: Golden State yesterday assigned second-year center Patrick O'Bryant to the Bakersfield Jam and recalled rookie center Kosta Perovic from his second stint in the D-League this season. O'Bryant, who has appeared in 22 games this season for Golden State, is no stranger to the D-League, having played in 25 games for the Jam last season. Perovic finishes his assignment with D-League season averages of 9.4 points and 7.1 rebounds in 23.3 minutes over 21 games.
