WEDNESDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Wednesday's D-League games
v Dakota's Carlos Powell recorded a triple-double with 25 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists as Blake Ahearn led all scorers with 35 points in the win.
v Dough Thomas' 24 points led the way for Iowa in the loss and Dwayne Mitchell scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
v A trio of Mad Ants each scored 22 points, as Earl Calloway (who also added 14 assists in the win), Corey Minnifield and Cheikh Samb (who also pulled down 13 rebounds) each accomplished the feat.
v Six 66ers scored in double-figures with Adam Harrington (25 points) and Mike Hall (24 points) leading the way in Tulsa's win.
v Guillermo Diaz spearheaded the Arsenal offense with 31 points as Kedrick Brown netted 24 points in the loss.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in the NBA
16 players with D-League experience competed in NBA games last night. Here is a look at the highlights:
v Toronto's Jamario Moon finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds in 40 minutes as the Raptors defeated the Magic.
v Louis Williams of the Philadelphia 76ers netted 13 points and dished out four assists in 20 minutes of action as the Sixers beat the Knicks.
v D-League All-Star MVP and newly minted Hawk Jeremy Richardson scored seven points in eight minutes of action as Atlanta fell to the Sacramento Kings.
v Mikki Moore saw more than 21 minutes of action and scored seven points for the Kings.
TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT: Last night's D-League games were decided by an average of 6 points, including Fort Wayne's three-point victory over Bakersfield and Tulsa's one-point win over Anaheim.
