REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS: The Fort Worth Flyers have become the first D-League expansion team (since Greenville in year one) to win a regular season title. The Flyers clinched home court throughout the postseason by winning at Austin on Saturday.

SAMTASTIC: Fort Worth coach Sam Vincent is no stranger to a D-League title run. His 2002-03 Mobile Revelers won the league championship after losing in the first round to North Charleston in the inaugural season.

THEY SAID IT: "When you are playing in a really tough league, with good coaches, it is gratifying to see the reward of your hard work. I am really proud of our guys." ... Fort Worth coach Sam Vincent after his team clinched the 2005-06 regular season title on Saturday.

TRIPLE DOUBLES: Saturday marked the first time since the league began play there were two triple-doubles recorded on the same night. Albuquerque point guard Tierre Brown scored 24 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists, while Tulsa's Will Conroy had 12 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.

MORE SATURDAY STARS
- Ersan Ilyasova, on assignment from the Bucks to Tulsa, scored 28 and had 8 rebounds in 34 minutes.
- Roanoke forward Isiah Victor scored 29 and had 11 rebounds in 40 minutes of work.
- Arkansas' Brian Jackson continued to play well, notching 24 points and making 11-of-16 FGA.

HOT SHOOTERS: The Tulsa 66ers and Arkansas RimRockers both rode hot shooting nights from the floor to victories on Saturday. The 66ers shot 57-percent (45-78) and the RimRockers 56-percent (44-78). Tulsa also made 9-of-13 (62-percent) from behind the three-point arc.
