SCOOT OVER: Fort Worth's win over Fayetteville yesterday brought the Flyers into a tie for the top spot in the league standings with Florida.
COMPLETING THE COUP: The Flyers won't have to wait long to see if they can finish the takeover. Florida hosts the Flyers on Thursday at Germain arena in the next game for both teams.
MIGHT NOT BE SO EASY: Florida has the league's best home record at 12-5. Fort Worth is 8-6 on the road.
THEY SAID IT: "My guys have put more focus on playing solid defense of late, fighting for loose balls and attacking the rim. We are coming together as a team, playing unselfishly and looking for the extra pass. Overall we have just been smarter as a club." Fort Worth coach Sam Vincent on the recent play of his team.
LURKERS: While Florida and Fort Worth beat on each other at the top, the Austin Toros are lurking just a mere game back. The Toros play three times this week, all at home. Fayetteville comes to the Austin Convention Center on Thursday and Tulsa visits on Saturday and Sunday.
