D-LEAGUE CARES: The Roanoke Dazzle has once again teamed up with the Roanoke Rescue Mission during the Holiday season. Fans that bring a canned food item, a new toy or an article of clothing will be admitted free for the Dazzle's game against the Florida Flame on Friday.

REPRESENTING THE CONFERENCES: Coming into the 2005-06 season, the Big East Conference had more former players that had played in the D-League than any other major collegiate conference with 39. The SEC was next with 32, followed by the ACC with 28, the Pac 10 and C-USA with 25, the Big 10 with 22 and the Big 12 with 15.

MAKING THE CALL: There were five former D-League referees working last night's five NBA games. In all, 14 former D-League officials have earned a call-up to the NBA.

MLK SHOWCASE: The 2006 MLK Showcase, featuring every D-league team in eight games over two days, is scheduled for January 15-16 at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, N.C.
