Navigators to be featured on MTV News

Tacoma, WA. The ABA Tacoma Navigators professional basketball team will be featured on a live segment of MTV News with ABA Entertainment,MTV and Fox TV star, KRISHNAR on Sunday, December 18th at 630pm at Hooters Restaurant in Tacoma - 2880 Tacoma Mall Boulevard. The international recording artist and Calvin Klein model will host former NBA and Seattle Sonics guard and Navigators head coach, Vincent Askew and several players, including ABA Player of the Week, Tim Ellis, star guard Jim Rainwater and power forward Dontay Harris, who has just returned to his hometown of Tacoma after playing professionallly in Luxembourg and China.
Krishnar will be making a special appearance on Friday, December 23rd at a Tacoma Navigators home game with the 2004-2005 defending ABA Western Conference Champion Bellevue Blackhawks at the Navs' home court, Mt. Tahoma High School, 4634 S. 75th Street in Tacoma. The game will be presented by Mountain Mitsubishi and the Puget Sound Sports Hall of Fame and sponsored by Hooters Tacoma. A dozen Hooters girls will be on hand to sign autographs and give out t-shirts and prizes, including an all-expenses paid trip to New York for a special MTV taping.
Sunday's event at Hooters is open to the public and free of charge. General admission for the Bellevue Blackhawks at Tacoma Navigators game next Friday is just $10.00 while student admission is just $5.00.
