Nashville Broncs Welcome Chinese All-Star Team
May 20, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Nashville Broncs News Release
Nashville, TN. Scott Lumley, owner of the ABA Nashville Broncs, Music City's professional basketball team, echoed the Olympic belief of kinship that sports provides in crossing cultures and how the upcoming exhibition game between his team and the Chinese CBA professional All-Star team will be a great example of sportsmanship that will carry over into the upcoming ABA season.
"The ability to bring this Olympic spirit to Nashville, especially with the Olympic games right around the corner is a wonderful way to show Tennesseans how sports can traverse continents and cultures," Lumley said. "The Broncs look forward to extending Music City's offering of family entertainment and values. We hope to see everyone at the exhibition game with the Chinese team at 7pm on May 23 at Fisk University and during the upcoming 2008-2009 season."
Tickets can be purchased for $5 at NovaCopy (15 Lindsley Ave), Fisk University (1000 17th Avenue) or at the Nashville Broncs corporate office (315 Union Street, Suite 1230).
