NAHL Announces Showcase Schedule
July 3, 2013 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Topeka Pilots News Release
The matchups are now set for the 11th Annual NAHL Showcase and your Topeka RoadRunners. The event will take place from Sept. 18-22 in Blaine, MN, at the Schwan Super Rink. All 24 NAHL teams will converge on Blaine and play four regular season games. The showcase represents a yearly opportunity for the RoadRunners to play against teams from outside of the South Division.
"We are excited to have the competition of out-of-division opponents," said Head Coach Scott Langer. "We have some very good challenges at this year's showcase. It will allow our players to test their abilities against top teams."
The RoadRunners' opponents are the Wenatchee Wild (Wednesday, September 18th, 1:30pm), the Johnstown Tomahawks (Thursday, September 19th, 4:30pm), the Soo Eagles (Friday, September 20th, 1:15pm), and they will close out the showcase against the Aberdeen Wings (Saturday, September 21st, 3:30pm). All of these games will count towards their respective regular season win/loss totals and will provide players with an opportunity to compete in front of NCAA and NHL scouts.
