Charleston RiverDogs News Release
RICHMOND, VA - Jeff Nelson and Ryan Keller combined for eight points total and a four goal run took the Muskegon Fury to a 6-2 victory over the Richmond RiverDogs before a crowd of 3,898 at the Richmond Coliseum. Muskegon got on the board with a pair of goals from David Wrigley and Nigel Hawryliw in the first. Mike Oliveira continues his scoring magic by cutting the Fury lead 2-1 before the end of the first stanza. Things got very interesting when John DiPace tied the score 2-2 early in the second period. From that point on, it was all Muskegon as they scored four straight to secure the win. Although the Fury got the victory, the RiverDogs outshot their opponents 31-27, the third time the Dogs have outshot teams this season.
The RiverDogs and the Fury battle one more time tomorrow night at the Richmond Coliseum, with the puck-drop at 7:35 pm. It will also be Richmond Times-Dispatch Family 4 Pack Night. For only $44, fans get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas and coupons from Chipolte, G-Force Racing, Tropical Smoothie and skate passes from Skate Nation Plus.
Season tickets, FlexPaks, Richmond Times-Dispatch Family 4 Packs and group packages are available through the RiverDogs office. For more information call the RiverDogs at 804-225-PUCK (7825).
