Music Inherit a Whole Series

June 13, 2007 - South Coast League (SCL)
Macon Music News Release

June 13, 2007 - MACON, GA - One team's loss is Macon's gain as the Music will pick up a series originally to be held in Bradenton, Fl during the weekend of July 26-28.

Scheduling conflicts with the ballpark in Bradenton along with the high attendance of the Music games to this point made these bonus games possible.

"The League thought about moving the games to a different ballpark in Florida, but with the way the fans have been coming out to support the team we want to give the Macon and nearby communities every chance possible to come out and watch a game," said Music GM Ric Sisler

At this point, the Music have a record of 12-2 at Luther Williams Field, so the players and coaches look at this as a definite advantage.

"We pack the fans better than anywhere else in the league and (Luther Willams Field caters to our style of play, said Music pitcher Ross Stout, "the more games we can play here, the better."

The games will be played as a normal Music home game. All games will be played at 7:05 pm. Promotions such as Thirsty Thursday will continue as usual, but other promotions are still to be determined.

Season ticket holders are still untitled to their seats, but the Macon Music staff is asking they contact the Music to get a voucher for their seats.

Fans can get tickets to the game by stopping by Luther Williams Field box office or by calling (478) 749-1819.
