Mulawka Stops 26 of 26 to Lead Cougars to Pre-Season Victory in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS BC - Three different goal scorers and a 26 save shutout from Madden Mulawka led the Prince George Cougars to a 3-0 triumph over the Kamloops Blazers in pre-season action at the Sandman Centre.

1st PERIOD:

PG: On a Cougars power-play, Noah Boyko was able to work his way into the slot and wrist one through traffic and under the pad of Jesse Sanche and into the goal. Boyko's first of the pre-season was assisted by Hudson Thornton and Chase Wheatcroft at 13:06

2nd PERIOD:

PG: Blake Eastman got the puck at the left circle, threw it in front of the goal and it hit a Blazer defenceman and went right through the legs of Sanche to make it 2-0. Eastman's first of the pre-season was assisted by Zach Shantz and Ephram McNutt at 3:00.

PG: On another PG power-play, the Cats were able to snap the puck around the offensive zone, and Blake Eastman spotted Ondrej Becher at the right circle and wired home a one timer to make it 3-0 PG. Becher's first of the pre-season was assisted by Eastman and Viliam Kmec at 16:05.
