Mudbugs QB Samuels Named VIDSWAP.com POTW

LAKE CHARLES, La. (July 8, 2009) -- Acadiana Mudbugs QB Sean Samuels has been named the Southern Indoor Football League's VIDSWAP.com Player Of The Week by virtue of his performance and fan vote.
Samuels threw for touchdowns and ran for another as the Mudbugs defeated the Texas Hurricanes 44-30 on Sunday. In fan voting on www.southernifl.com, he outdistanced teammate Stephan Barrett as well as Kirt Duhon and Valyn Johnson from Louisiana.
Each SIFL game has four MVPs for offensive, defensive, line and special teams. Two game MVPS are selected for balloting for the league-wide MVP by fans.
