Mudbugs Hosting Two Watch Parties for Game 7

BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs are pleased to offer multiple viewing options for fans to take in Friday's Game 7 of the Presidents' Cup Finals, during which the Mudbugs and Colorado Eagles will play one final game in Loveland, Colorado to determine a CHL Champion in 2011. To help our fans be a part of this very rare and special occasion, the Mudbugs w ill be hosting a pair of watch parties on CHL-TV at the Robinson Film Center and on Altitude Sports & Entertainment at Archie Hebert's.
Opening faceoff for Game 7 of the CHL Championship series is set for 8:05 pm Central time, with the winner being awarded the Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Championship. 2011 marks the fifth time in CHL history the league Finals have been decided in a seventh game and first since 2004, when the ¬ËBugs suffered the controversial and now-infamous overtime loss to Laredo.
For the first time this postseason, the Mudbugs are teaming up with the Robinson Film Center to offer fans the chance to watch Game 7 on CHL-TV in an ideal environment. Friday's game will be shown in all three rooms at the Robinson with doors opening at 7:00 pm. A buffet meal will be available for purchase at the doors for just $10.00 for adults at $5.00 for kids, and a cash bar will be offered as well. Otherwise, admission is free - but get there early because the Robinson Film Center has room for only 125 Mudbugs fans before it reaches capacity!
The ¬ËBugs will also return to Archie Hebert's Sports Bar and Grill (2112 Villagio Boulevard in Bossier City) for another watch party featuring extra wait staff and seating on a first-come, first-served basis. This time however, Archie's will be showing the live TV broadcast on Altitude Sports & Entertainment rather than CHL-TV. Altitude's broadcast team will be made up of Mike Haynes and Peter McNab -- the same duo that brings Colorado Avalanche games to life -- with Lauren Gardner providing ice-side reporting. Altitude is available in over 3.1 million homes within a 10-state region (available through Comcast Cable, DirecTV, Dish Network and other cable systems). Check your local listings.
At both official Mudbugs watch parties, 2011 Presidents' Cup Finals t-shirts will be on sale for $10.00 each and $15.00 for two. We will also be selling raffle tickets at both locations for the chance to win an authentic Mudbugs' "NASCAR Night" jersey from this season! Raffle tickets are also available at a cost of $10.00 each and $15.00 for two.
