MSG Network To Air 19 New York Red Bulls Games In 2008

SECAUCUS, NJ - Red Bull New York announced today its television broadcast schedule in conjunction with MSG Network. In 2008, MSG and MSG Plus (formerly FSNY) will air 19 of the Red Bulls 30 regular season matches.

MSG kicks of its 2008 season with the Red Bulls April 12 match at FC Dallas. Other exciting broadcasts on the MSG schedule include the Red Bulls May 10 visit to The Home Depot Center to face David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy, as well as Cuauhtemoc Blanco and the Chicago Fire's May 25 visit to Giants Stadium. For the 2008 season, Shep Messing, former NY Cosmos star, returns for this seventh season as analyst. Moving into the play-by-play chair on a full-time basis this season will be Steve Cangialosi, who for the past six seasons has served as the studio host. Cangialosi takes over for the departed JP DellaCamera, who joins ESPN's national MLS telecast team beginning this season.

In 2008, the remaining 11 Red Bulls matches will be telecast by MLS national rights holders including ESPN, Fox Soccer Channel (FSC), TeleFutura, and HDNet.
