M's Come From Behind, Burin Hits 2-Out Walk-Off

Pulaski, VA- Felipe Burin hit a walk-off single propelling the Mariners past the Rays 5 to 4 Thursday night at Historic Calfee Park.
In the bottom of the ninth, Pulaski mixed up a bit of two out magic when Phillips Castillo and pinch hitter Tyler Marlette ripped back-to-back two-out doubles tying the game at 4 to 4. Felipe Burin then stepped into the box and gave his teammates and fans exactly what they wanted to see. Ripping a line drive that bounced off of the outstretched glove of the Rays right fielder. The Pulaski dugout emptied in a flash as Burin's teammates swarmed him while feeding off of the exhilaration of the hometown crowd.
Dario Pizzano and Philips Castillo led the charge on offense for the Mariners. Pizzano went 2 for 4 while scoring two of Pulaski's five runs on the night. His performance was capped off by a towering solo homerun in the forth that cleared the center field fence with plenty of room to spare. Castillo went 3 for 4 included his clutch two out double that started the game-winning rally.
M's starting pitcher Charles Kaalekahi was impressive yet again, producing his second quality start of the year. He got through six innings, giving up three runs on six hits, walking none, and striking out two Princeton batters.
Pulaski will take on the Rays for the last game of their series tomorrow, 7 p.m. at Historic Calfee Park.
