Mountain Ducks Player Signings

Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks News Release


OZARK, MO – The Springfield-Ozark Mountain Ducks have re-signed Reliever Ryan Vincent, Utility Infielder Brandon Fox, Starting Pitcher J.D. Hardcastle, and returning from the 1999 and 2000 seasons Reliever Bryan Buschhorn, field manager Phil Wilson announced today.

Ryan Vincent, the Mountain Ducks reliever, played in 16 games with the Ducks last season with a 6.03 ERA, 22 strikeouts and 21 walks. The Branson native played with Southwest Babtist University before signing with the Ducks in 2001.

Brandon Fox, Mountain Ducks utility infielder, played in 45 games with the Ducks last season. Fox, from Lafayette Indiana, split time at left field and 3rd base. The Ducks infielder hit .257 with 2 HR's and 11 RBI's.

J.D. Hardcastle, a left-handed starting pitcher, will return to the Ducks this season. From Oakley California, Hardcastle started in 16 games with 4 wins and 12 losses, He accumulated a 5.64 ERA 64 strikeouts and 48 walks. Bryan Buschhorn, will return for the Ducks to begin play in his 3rd season with the Ducks. The right-handed pitcher played with the Southwest Missouri State Bears before signing with the Ducks in 1999.
