
Morgan Lewis Leads Black Team to Win in Power Intrasquad Game

(Mississauga, ON -) Fans and community members in Mississauga received their first taste of professional basketball in the city as the Mississauga Power hosted an intrasquad game at the Hershey SportsZone this evening.
The 18 man training camp roster was divided into two teams with Morgan Lewis & NBL All-Star, Nick Okorie leading the Black team against Mark Gomillia, William "Bo" Harris, Kirk Williams Jr. & Bol Kong's White team. Lewis led the team to an early 32-19 lead with 8 points and a final 51-36 win over the White team. "I thought the game went great," Okorie explains. He continues, "This kind of game is more of a bonding experience and we definitely learned more about each other's play style, I think we learned a lot tonight."
Training camp began on October 7th with the roster being cut down to 12 players before the season begins on November 2nd in London, ON.
