Montgomery Gentry to Join Tim McGraw at Kats Concert

NASHVILLE (Jan. 16, 2005) - Nashville KATS co-owner Tim McGraw will kick off the team's 2006 season with an exclusive concert Jan. 20 at the Gaylord Entertainment Center, "Tim McGraw & Friends." Just announced, McGraw will bring along long-time friends and high-powered duo Montgomery Gentry to get the party started. Opening act is Hot Apple Pie.
"Anytime that we can share the stage with Tim, we're there!," says Troy Gentry. "Tim's been a great friend to T-roy and me. It's a honor to be invited," says Eddie Montgomery.
Fans who purchase season tickets will sit in their same seats for the concert and season ticket packages start at $90. The 2006 season kicks off with a game at New York on Sat., Feb. 28 followed by The Kats hosting the Columbus Destroyers in their home opener on Fri., Feb. 3. All eight of the team's regular season home games will be played on Friday and Saturday nights this season. Tickets are available by phone at 615-565-4700, or through Katsonline.com.
