NAHL Fresno Monsters vs. Dawson Creek RageSelland Arena - Fresno, CA
Thurs., 12/8/2011 - Fresno Monsters 9, Dawson Creek Rage 2:
The Fresno Monsters defeated the Dawson Creek Rage by their largest margin of victory yet this season, by a final score of 9-2. Fresno outshot Dawson Creek 42-24. Fresno was also 1-for-4 on the power play for the evening.
Fri., 12/9/2011 - Fresno Monsters 7, Dawson Creek Rage 1:
The fur flew on Friday at the 3rd annual Teddy Bear Toss Night as the Monsters went on to defeat the Dawson Creek Rage for the second-straight game, this time by a final score of 7-1. Fresno Monsters fans threw 650 stuffed animals on the ice for Toys for Tots this holiday season. Fresno outshot Dawson Creek 42-13.
NAHL PLAYER SPOTLIGHT
MIK BUSHINSKI: Bushinski led the charge for the Monsters on Friday, scoring the 1st goal of the game to send teddy bears and other stuffed animals onto the ice for the Teddy Bear Toss. He also scored the second goal of the game on the power play, the game-winning goal, and added two assists, earning him Friday's #1 star of the game.
RILEY BORER: Borer had a solid weekend against the Dawson Creek Rage. Thursday he scored two goals and one assist, earning a +4 rating and the #1 star of the game. Friday he added another goal and assist for Fresno to complete the two-game sweep of Dawson Creek.
BRENDAN BRADLEY: Bradley was a huge factor in Fresno's two-game series sweep of the Dawson Creek Rage. Thursday he scored two goals, one short-handed, and earned himself 3rd star of the game honors. Friday he scored a goal and two assists, good enough for 2nd star of the game honors.

WSHL Monsters vs. El Paso Rhinos
Sierra Providence Events Center - El Paso, Texas
Thursday, 12/8/2011 - Rhinos 5, Monsters 4 (shootout loss): The Fresno Monsters came back from a 4-2 deficit to tie the game at 4 and force overtime. Still scoreless after the 5-minute 4-on-4 overtime period, the Monsters were blanked on all 5-shooters in the 5-round shootout to give the Rhinos the win and the extra point in the standings.
Friday, 12/9/2011 - Monsters 8, Rhinos 4: Fresno forward Jason Beisinger lead the charge for Fresno with his 7-point night against the El Paso Rhinos. Beisinger's 2 power play goals, 2 even-strength goals, and his game-winning penalty shot goal were enough to give the Monsters the victory with a final score of 8-4.
Saturday, 12/10/2011 - Rhinos 7, Monsters 3: Saturday, the El Paso Rhinos were too much for the Monsters. El Paso capitalized on 50% of their power play opportunities to give them the win by a final score of 7-3.
WSHL PLAYER SPOTLIGHT
JASON BEISINGER: Beisinger had one of the best games of his hockey career on Friday, scoring two power play goals, two even strength goals, the game-winning penalty shot goal, and two assists for a 7-point night. He also added an assist on Thursday.
NICK McKEE: After the weekend in El Paso, Texas, McKee now leads the WSHL in goals scored with 23 goals in 27 games played. He is also tied for most points in the league with 45 points (23 goals, 22 assists). Thursday he had an assist, Friday he notched a goal and two assists, and Saturday he added a power play goal.
MARC HAAF: Haaf tallied two power play goals and one even strength goal on Thursday, giving him the hat trick against the El Paso Rhinos. Friday he also added 4 assists and a goal on Saturday night.
