NAHL WEEKEND RECAP
NAHL Fresno Monsters vs. Amarillo BullsSelland Arena - Fresno, CA
Friday, 12/02/2011 - Fresno 3, Amarillo Bulls 2: (Shootout Win):
The Fresno Monsters went on to defeat Amarillo Bulls in shootouts with a final score 3-2. Fresno came from behind to tie the game in regulation and force overtime. The game was evenly matched, as was the shootout going 7-rounds before the Monsters came up with the victory.
Saturday, 12/03/2011 - Amarillo Bulls 4, Monsters 2:The Amarillo Bulls were too much for the Monsters to handle on Saturday night. Amarillo came out with an early lead and never looked back. Fresno Monsters' fans made history, breaking the World Record for most sunglasses worn at night for 10 minutes in darkness at the game, with 612 people participating for the full 10 minutes.
NAHL PLAYER SPOTLIGHT
PETR MAINER: Mainer had a great performance this past weekend against Amarillo Bulls. Friday he scored the first goal and tied the game in the last two minutes of the 3rd period, taking the Monsters into overtime. As a result of his outstanding performance, Petr was awarded the 1st star of the game on Friday night.
MIK BUSHINSKI: Mik played a terrific game against Amarillo Bulls on Saturday night. He recorded an assist and scored the second goal for the Monsters on Saturday night. For his great performance, he was awarded the 3rd star of the game on Saturday night.
TOMAS SHOLL: Tomas had a great performance in Friday's game against Amarillo Bulls. He stopped 36 out of 38 shots on Friday night, including 6 shots during shootout. Tomas was awarded the 3rd star of the game on Friday night.

Friday, 12/02/2011 - Monsters 8, Valencia 2: The Monsters continued their winning streak. They dominated this game with an impressive 43 shots on goal, defeating the Valencia Flyers with a score of 8-2.Saturday, 12/03/2011 - Monsters 5, Valencia 2: Fresno kept up their winning streak by defeating the Valencia Flyers again for the second-straight game, this time by a final score of 5-2.
Sunday, 12/04/2011 - Monsters 5, Valencia 2: The Monsters were on fire this weekend as they won for a third-straight game against the Valencia Flyers with a score of 5-2.
WSHL PLAYER SPOTLIGHT
KYLE GODFREY: Kyle played an excellent game last weekend against Valencia Flyers. He scored five goals and two assists. On Friday he scored three goals and one assist. Saturday he scored two goals and one assist.
JOSIAH NIKKEL: Josiah was very notable last weekend against Valencia, recording one goal and five assists. Friday he recorded three assists. Saturday he scored one goal and made one assist. Sunday he closed a successful weekend with one assist, which was during power play.
MARC HAAF: Marc was impressive last weekend against Amarillo Flyers, scoring one goal and recording five assists for the Monsters. Friday he scored one goal and recorded two assists. Saturday Marc recorded one assist during a power play. Sunday he closed the weekend with two assists. .
