
Monkman named SPHL Hockey Player of the Week

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc forward Bill Monkman has been named the SPHL Sher-wood Hockey Player of the Week.
Monkman scored six goals and had one assist as the Havoc won three games on the road. He recorded a hat-trick in a 6-5 shootout win over the Florida Seals on Friday night. The Tara, Ontario native leads the Havoc in goals with 34 and is tied for second in the SPHL.
He is the second consecutive Havoc player to win the award as goalie Matt Carmichael was last week's recipient.
