February 15, 2015 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Island Storm News Release
(Charlottetown, PE) The Island STORM announced this afternoon the cancellation and rescheduling of the Monday afternoon Islander Day game against the London Lightning.
Because of the severe winter storm hitting the Maritimes and with this storm lingering into Monday, the Island STORM has cancelled their 2pm game and rescheduled it to next Monday, February 23rd, at 7pm. The Island STORM and the NBL Canada sees the safety of its players and fans as a #1 priority and didn't want to see anyone out as the storm was in its final stages.
The Lightning were to play the Halifax Rainmen in Halifax this afternoon but that game has been rescheduled to Monday night at 7pm.
The Island STORM also remind all fans who have tickets for our Islander Day game, that these tickets will be honored for the rescheduled game for Monday February 23rd.
