Since Chivas USA has come into the league, they've had a star-crossed existence with the New York Red Bulls, and the two meet for the first time this season on MLS Primetime Thursday. Bob Bradley went from coaching the then-MetroStars to Chivas USA - promptly leading them to a first-ever playoff spot. But in the interim, New York went to Chivas needing to win to gain a place in the 2005 playoffs - and did just that. Then last year, the teams combined for nine goals in a wild game at the Meadowlands, one of the highest-scoring games in MLS history.
