LA JOYA, Texas (July 25) - The Chicago Fire's international friendly versus Club Santos Laguna of the Mexican Primera Division was cancelled Wednesday night due to inclement weather.
A two-hour thunderstorm flooded La Joya Stadium, making the playing surface unplayable.
The Fire (4-8-4) resumes Major League Soccer action this Sunday against Toronto FC at BMO Field.
