Rochester Rhinos News Release

Boston, Mass. (April 9, 2010) - Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today that the Chicago Machine will face the Denver Outlaws at Marina Auto Stadium in Rochester, N.Y. on Friday, June 25 at 7:30 p.m., according to MLL Commissioner David Gross.

"We are excited for the return of Major League Lacrosse to Rochester and look forward to hosting the Machine and Outlaws this summer," Robert Clark, Owner and CEO of the Rochester Rhinos, said. "Rochester has always had a strong following in the MLL and we know the fans will come out to watch this exciting game." The game will mark the return of Major League Lacrosse to Rochester. The Rochester Rattlers played in the MLL from 2001 to 2008. In 2008, the Rattlers won the Major League Lacrosse Championship by defeating Denver, 16-6, at Harvard Stadium.

"We're looking forward to playing another Major League Lacrosse game in Rochester," added Gross. "For eight seasons, the Rochester fans were as passionate as any we've had in the League, and we're eager to play in front of that same great intensity once again."

Tickets for the game are available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000 beginning Friday, April 16 at 10:00AM. Group tickets will also be available.

Home to the Rochester Rhinos of the USL First Division, Marina Auto Stadium opened in 2006 and served as the home of the Rattlers and the Rhinos. It also served as the host site for the 2007 New Balance MLL Championship Weekend, which was won by the Philadelphia Barrage.

The 2010 Major League Lacrosse season begins on Saturday, May 15.
