Missouri Monsters Announce 2013 Schedule

ST. CHARLES, MO - Seven home games including the home opener against a team that went undefeated last season, highlight the schedule announced today for the inaugural season of the Missouri Monsters in the Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL).

"This schedule presents a great challenge, but should provide some great football for our fans to see," said Howard Balzer, Monsters senior vice president of operations.

Monsters coach John Parker agreed. He said, "Obviously the teams from Georgia, Florida and Texas will give us great challenges. We look forward to the opportunity to compete on our stringent travel schedule and of course at home at the Family Arena."

The home schedule features three Friday games, two on Saturday, one on Sunday and one on Monday. All games will be played at the Family Arena in St. Charles.

The home opener is Friday, March 8 against the Florida Tarpons, following the season opener on Saturday, March 2 in Sarasota.

The schedule includes five UIFL home games, five UIFL away games, plus two non-league home games to be determined.
