Blast Notes - Moved into a second-place tie in the MISL standings with win over California 5-3 on Friday. Led the game 4-0 and held off a late second half rally by the Cougars to win 5-3, and improve to 4-0 in the season series.
* Only team to have beaten St. Louis (16-4) and Milwaukee (14-7) twice.
* Outscore opponents 34-14 in first qtr.
* Blast is 14-4 when Neto scores a point, 0-3 when he does not.
* Celenza scored his 150th career goal.
* Celenza leads the MISL in goals (31) power play goals (6) and first goals (6).

* This week: Cougars are 0-5 against STL (Fri), 0-4 against MIL (Sun.) and 1-11 on the road (Sunday at Milwaukee).

Storm Notes - Rare comeback win on Feb. 19 led to a rare 19-day break in the schedule for Chicago. After a crushing 6-5 overtime loss at Baltimore, in which Chicago led 5-2 in the fourth quarter, Storm rebounded to win 7-5 in Milwaukee, stunning the defending MISL Champions with go-ahead short-handed goals, separated by less than 20 seconds by All-Star D Lazo Alavanja and Stewart.
* Alavanja and Wave's Marcelo Fontana only two with two short-handed goals.
* Layoff ends when Chicago visits California Mar. 11. Season series at 2-2.
* Stewart (5G, 3A) in last three games.

Wave Notes - Host California on Sunday, a team they've beaten in each of four meetings.
* The Wave has won 25 consecutive games (including the postseason) when allowing five or fewer goals.
* Won first eight games, won just six of last 13 games.
* Key injuries to Eduardo Sebrango, Michael King, and Lovelace Ackah have forced the Wave to alternate line-ups.
* Greg Howes leads MISL in points (48), restart goals (nine) and shots (114).
* MISL leader Matt Schmidt has 32 blocks this year and just hit 150 for his career.

KiXX Notes - The Milwaukee Wave had outscored the KiXX 28-15 in taking the first four of the six meetings this season. The KiXX have lost nine-straight games overall. That's until Pat Morris scored four consecutive goals to close out a 7-6 overtime win for PHI at home on Saturday night.
* 2005 MISL Defender of the Year, Morris totaled 9 points and 6 blocks in Feb.
* Two-time MISL MVP Dino Delevski has three goals and two assists since being signed by the KiXX on 2/16.
* Since being acquired from the Cougars, defender Vlatko Andonovski has missed 11 of 13 games with a calf injury.
