· Chicago Storm defender Leo Pernia has been suspended for two matches, in addition to the mandatory one-match suspension for receiving a Red Card, and fined an undisclosed amount.
· Cleveland Force forward Joel Bailey has been fined an additional undisclosed amount.
· The Cleveland Force and Chicago Storm have each been fined an undisclosed amount for players leaving their bench areas to participate in a melee, for the Cleveland Team temporarily leaving the field of play, and for the unauthorized entry to the field of play by Team Management Personnel.
"Following a thorough review into the incidents, the penalties issued today deal with the inappropriate and reprehensible actions of some of our players," said Commissioner Ryan. "As stated earlier in the week, there is absolutely no room in our game for fighting, and any such misconduct will be dealt with decisively, as exemplified by the unprecedented suspensions and monetary sanctions handed down today. The actions of the players involved were totally inconsistent with the professionalism and conduct that has been and will continue to be the standard for all MISL players."
