Sunday, February 28th
Minot 1 @ MN Wilderness 4 - The Wilderness got 34 saves from goalie Kaleb Johnson as they won their second straight game and improved their record to the .500 mark thanks to a 4-1 win on Sunday over Minot. The Wilderness wasted no time getting the scoring started as Zach Michaelis scored his 3rd goal of the season less than a minute into the game. Minot would answer on the power play late in the period as Ethan Schmunk would score his 3rd goal of the season to make it 1-1. The difference in the game was the 2nd period as the Wilderness got three goals from Josh Phillips, Dane Stoyanoff, and Ethan Wolthers to bring home the 4-1 win. Keenan Rancier took the loss in goal, making 29 saves.
Saturday, February 27th
Minot 4 @ MN Wilderness 5 - The Minnesota Wilderness jumped into the playoff picture with a 5-4 win over the Minot Minotauros. Gavin Rasmussen, Zach Michaelis and Mikol Sartor all had a goal and an assist for the Wilderness to lead the offense. Grant Docter and Donte Lawson each got themselves on the scoresheet with goals of their own. Tyler Kostelecky potted a pair of goals for Minot in the loss. Ethan Schmunk and Jay Buchholz also found the back of the net for the Minotauros. Jacob Zacharewicz picked up the win in between the pipes as he made 22 saves. Keenan Rancier was the losing goalie despite making 31 saves.
