
Minnesota Wild agree to terms with Milroy, Disalvatore and Dubielewicz

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has agreed to terms with right wing Duncan Milroy, right wing Jon DiSalvatore and goaltender Wade Dubielewicz (DOO-blih-wihts) to one-year contracts.
Milroy, 26 (2/8/83), spent the 2008-09 season with Ingolstadt ERC in the German DEL, posting 48 points (14-34=48). Milroy recorded a career-high 58 points (25-33=58) in 64 games for Hamilton of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2006-07, when he also notched one assist in five games with the Montreal Canadiens. The 6-foot-1, 198-pound native of Edmonton, Alta., was Montreal's second-round pick (No. 37 overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Milroy also earned the 2005 Yanick Dupre Memorial Award as the AHL's Man of the Year.
DiSalvatore, 28 (3/30/81), recorded 53 points (20-33=53) in 76 games with the AHL's Lowell Devils in 2008-09. He posted a career-high 67 points (22-45=67) in 2005-06 with the AHL's Peoria Rivermen, the same season he saw his first NHL action, five games with St. Louis. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound native of Bangor, Maine, attended Providence College. He was San Jose's fourth-round draft pick (No. 104 overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
Dubielewicz, 30 (1/30/79), played three games with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2008-09, going 1-2-0 with a 3.56 goals against average (GAA) and a .870 SV Pct. He also played 21 games with Kazan Ak-Bars of the Kontinental Hockey League, recording an 11-8-3 mark with a 2.77 GAA and a .892 SV Pct. Dubielewicz has 40 games of NHL experience with the New York Islanders and Columbus, with a 17-15-1 record, a 2.64 GAA and a .916 SV Pct. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound native of Invermere, B.C., won the American Hockey League's Dudley Garrett Award as Rookie of the Year in 2003-04, going 20-8-5 for Bridgeport with a 1.38 GAA and a .946 SV Pct. Dubielewicz teamed with Dieter Kochan to win the Harry Hap Holmes Memorial Award as the goaltending duo with the lowest GAA. Dubielewicz played collegiately at the University of Denver, where he was an All-America selection in 2001-02.
