
Minnesota Swarm Goalie Nick Patterson Named NLL Player of the Month

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League (NLL) announced today that Minnesota Swarm goaltender Nick Patterson has been named the February Player of the Month.
Patterson, 23 (12/8/82), backstopped the Swarm to a 2-1 record in the month including a 7-6 win at Edmonton on February 3 and an 11-10 home win over Philadelphia on February 10. The Vancouver, British Columbia-native was the Week Six and Week Seven Defensive Player of the Week in February. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound goaltender totaled 121 saves and allowed 30 goals in three games during the month of February. He also tallied four assists during the month.
Overall Patterson is 4-2 this season with a 10.29 goals against average (GAA) and a .800 save percentage for the Swarm, who evened its record at 5-5 with an 11-8 win at Buffalo on Saturday.
