Minnesota Havok Adds Three to Defense

The Minnesota HAVOK signs former South Carolina State standout Donovan Richard.

Donovan Richard, the former South Carolina State University and All-MEAC linebacker. Richard finished his three-year career topping the SC State's school's defensive football records with 284 career tackles as a Bulldog, has signed with the Minnesota HAVOK. Donovan, the former CFL Edmonton Eskimos Free Agent 2013, and a former member of the Jacksonville Jaguar 2012 as an outside linebacker, is HAVOK Coach Jose Jefferson's latest acquisition.

As a SCSU senior Richard, was one of 10 South Carolina State seniors scouted by both the National Football League and the Canadian Football League at rookie camp. The press stated, "Most impressive among the SC State players was Richard, who had a vertical leap of 39 inches and ran the 40-yard dash in an official time of 4.41. The Georgetown native also had 24 reps of 225 on the bench press." Adding to Richard's impressive resume, he was named to the 2011 HBCU Bowl East West Roster, 2011 All-MEAC Defensive First Team, 2011 Preseason All-Patriot League, and 2008 STaTS FCS pre-season all-America first-team.

Danny Farr - University of Toledo Rockets

Defensive Tackle 6'5'', 295 lbs. and former member of the AFL Cleveland Gladiators and IFL Green Bay Blizzards. Danny Farr played his college career at with the Rockets at the University of Toledo., before joining the ranks in indoor football. While with the Rockets Farr's stats include 16 solo tackles, 17 assists and I quarterback sack. In 2012, Farr's senior year he missed several games due to a knee injury. After returning Farr was listed by Insider as 2013 NFL Draft prospect. Farr received an invited to the San Francisco 49ers rookie camp. In 2015, Danny joined the IFL and played in 5 games with the Green Bay Blizzards where he averaged over 56.0 yards and 2 assists, 5 tackles. The Minnesota HAVOK welcomes this addition to the team.

Minnesota HAVOK Nabs 2014 USA College Football All-American Defensive Line-man Joe Koonce

Joe Koonce - Montclair State

Weighing in at 6'3' 245 lbs., Linebacker, Joe Koonce, will bring some power and experience to the Minnesota HAVOK football team. Besides being named to the 2014 USA College Football All-American Team, Koonce was also named 2014 First Team ALL-NJAC. Koonce's senior year stats as a defensive lineman include, 25 tackles, 3 quarterback sacks, 4 pass break-ups, and 1 fumble recovery. The former Montclair State Red Hawk will bring some Beast power to the Havok line-up.
