Milwaukee Mustangs News Release

The Milwaukee Iron have announced that Iron Fest, a pre-game block party, will take place on Friday, July 24, prior to their regular season finale at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. on the Bradley Center's 4th Street Plaza and is free to the public. Iron Fest will include food, beverages, games, prizes, and live music as well as appearances and autographs from the Iron players and the Platinum Dance Team. Custom Harley-Davidson Motorcycles will be on display during the event courtesy of Hal's Harley-Davidson. Game tickets are not required to attend Iron Fest, however tickets for the 7:00 p.m. game against the Albany Firebirds will be available at the Bradley Center ticket window. Iron Fest will run right up to the pre-game festivities that begin inside the arena at 6:30 p.m. Following the event, Milwaukee will close out its inaugural season at home against Albany, with a possible playoff spot on the line. The Iron defeated the Firebirds 66-63 earlier this year in a game that saw 15-year Arena Football League veteran QB Todd Hammel throw for 273 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions in his af2 debut. The 42-year old af2 rookie threw for 425 touchdowns and over 27,000 yards before retiring from the AFL in 2006. For further information on Iron Fest, please refer to the attached flyer. To purchase tickets in advance for the July 24 game, contact the Iron ticket office at (262) 523-9206.
