
Milwaukee Bonecrushers Sign Key Players for Inaugural Season

Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee Bonecrushers Professional Indoor Football team has signed four players for its upcoming 2008 season.
Jake Provan, Tyrone Rhone, Markell Thompson, and Scott Tyrcha have enjoyed exceptional careers and will play key roles for the Bonecrushers inaugural season.
Jake Provan - Kicker
Jake Provan, a former Milwaukee Wave Soccer Star will serve as a kicker for the Bonecrushers. Provan played both 1999 and 2000 seasons for the Wave and won the NCFL Championship in 2000.
"Jake is well-recognized in the area due to his success with the Wave," said A.A'ron Williams III, Bonecrushers co-owner. "He will be as much as an asset off the field as he is on it."
Tyrone Rhone - Defensive Back
Tyrone Rhone of Milwaukee played with the Sioux Falls Storm Indoor Football Team, a United Indoor Football League in South Dakota. His experience will benefit his role as a Bonecrushers defensive back.
"Tyrone is tremendously gifted and fast for a defensive back," says Williams. "We are extremely excited to have his skills on the Bonecrushers."
Markell Thompson - Wide Receiver
Milwaukee native Markell Thompson's career took off after playing for the 1996 University of Florida Gators National Championship team. Thompson anticipates playing on the professional level as the Bonecrushers wide receiver.
"Markell is from Milwaukee. We are proud to have someone with this type of talent represent our team and our city," said Williams.
Scott Tyrcha - Offensive Line / Guard
Scott Tyrcha of Waukesha comes to the Bonecrushers with exceptional college and semi-professional experience. Starting as a Guard for Lake Forest College and Valparaiso, Tycha has played in the Arena Football 2 League and is currently playing for the Racine Raders of the Semi-professional North American Football League.
"Scott provides us with veteran leadership and valuable indoor football experience. He will be a key player in our organization," said Williams.
These players signed to Exclusive Rights Contracts extending from the August 2007 Free Agent Tryouts.
The Bonecrushers season kicks off on March 15, 2008, with pre-season games beginning in mid-February. Home games will be played at the U.S. Cellular Arena.
The Milwaukee Bonecrushers are a member of the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL), a 12-team league based in Canton, Ohio.
