Milwaukee Bonecrushers

Saturday night the Milwaukee Bonecrushers travel to Rockford to take on the Rock River Raptors. The Bonecrushers are 2-6 and are coming off a 51-33 lose to the Fort Wayne Freedom and the Raptors are 4-5 and are coming off a 77-47 lose to the undefeated Chicago Slaughter. The Raptors were previously on a 4 game winning streak.

In the last meeting between the Bonecrushers and Raptors, the Raptors came away with a 41-31 victory.

The Bonecrushers did well offensively against the Freedom and the defense kept them in the game. New quarterback Brett Hall, who was previously with the af2's Albany Firebirds is starting to click with the rest of the offense. Wide Receiver Dorian Palmer was back with the team after having a try-out with the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL. Wide Receiver Shatone Powers continues to be a force for the Bonecrushers.

The Raptors players to watch out for are former Bonecrushers running backs JR Taylor and Bryan Jennings. Taylor was with the Bonecrushers earlier this season and Jennings was with the Bonecrushers last season. Wide Receiver Bryce Stephens II is another guy to watch out for, he is probably the best receiver on the Raptors. Taylor had 104 rushing yards in the Raptors win over the Freedom two weeks ago. The Bonecrushers will definitely have to contain him. Raptors quarterback Brian Ryczkowski, who is also a former Bonecrusher player, is a decent, but not a great quarterback. If the Bonecrushers can get some pressure on him they should be able to force a turnover or two.

This should be a game that is pretty close throughout, but I think the Raptors win this one by 15.
