Mill Rats Press Conference Scheduled for Wednesday at Noon

(Saint John, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats are pleased to announce there will be a press conference at noon on Wednesday November 12th in the Alpine Room at Harbour Station.
Fans and supporters are encouraged to swing by during their lunch break to meet members from the community investor group that has acquired ownership in the team.
"Members from the basketball community in Saint John stepped forward this summer and assembled an group of investors to ensure the Mill Rats stayed in Saint John," said Mill Rats President & General Manager Ian McCarthy. "Without them we would not be here today."
The spokesman of the group is KV resident Paul Vaughan, who also serves as an Assistant Coach of the Mill Rats. Paul and other members will be on hand to speak to the fans about the importance of supporting the team, why they chose to get involved, and field questions.
Information will be available for anyone who would be interested in potentially joining the group.
The Mill Rats are currently 2-1 and in first place of the Atlantic Division after a thrilling win against the Island Storm yesterday in their home opener.
