Mill Rats Playoff Meet & Greet at Montana's

(Saint John, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats will be heading to Montana's Cookhouse at 7pm, following their 2pm game against the Halifax Rainmen today. Stop by to wish them good luck as they head into playoffs!

The Mill Rats will also be giving out a few playoff tickets to some lucky fans for the game on Tuesday, March 6th at 7pm! Bring your Mill Rats ticket stub from Sunday's game to receive 15% off your meal at Montana's.

The Mill Rats face the #1 ranked London Lightning on Tuesday at Harbour Station for Game One of the best of three series. Game Two will be in London on Friday, March 9th. If necessary, Game Three will be in London, on Sunday the 11th. The winner will then advance to NBL Canada Finals and take on the winner between the Quebec Kebs and the Halifax Rainmen.

The Saint John Mill Rats are looking to draw a record breaking number of fans for their first inaugural playoff game. To do this, special ticket prices will be offered - all bowl seats are set at just $10! Season ticket holders are reminded that they have the first option to purchase their seats for the playoff game until the end of today. All other seats are open and available for purchase now.

Today marks the last regular season game for the Mill Rats. Today's game theme is set to "That 70's Game" so make sure to dive into your closets for some vintage attire. Also on site will be 97.3 The Wave broadcasting live leading up to the game.

This game also features the "For the Kids" initiative, taken on by David Morrell. In an effort to provide a game experience to those less fortunate, Morrell's fundraising efforts were able to allow over 1000 underprivileged youth to attend the game tonight. Tickets were given to the Saint John Boys & Girls Club, PROKids, The Joshua Group, and more.

Tune into CBC Information Morning on Monday at 7:40am to hear Ian McCarthy, General Manager of the Saint John Mill Rats, chat about playoffs and his thoughts on the first inaugural NBL Canada season. Following that, at 8:00am, tune into the local French radio station, CHQC-FM to hear a special interview with Mill Rats Centre, Modibo Diarra.

The Mill Rats currently sit at 17-18 in league standings.
