
Lightning Finish Regular Season Defeating Summerside

The London Lightning concluded the regular season by defeated Summerside 109-87 in front of 3617 fans at the John Labatt Centre. The Lightning begin the play-offs as the top seed.
"It was a great way to end off the season," explained Coach Micheal Ray Richardson. "We had our arena full of fans, our entire roster played and we finished with the win. Now we have to stay focused for our battle through the play-offs."
Regulars rested. Subs such as Tim Ellis, Rodney Buford, and Jamar Abrams provided the offence finishing with 25, 14 and 12 points respectively.
The Lightning travel to Saint John for their first play-off game, returning to the John Labatt Centre on Friday, March 9th at 7pm.
