Mill Rats Host VIP Event on Thursday, February 23rd

(Saint John, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats are hosting a special VIP event on February. 23rd, 2012 from 4pm-6pm at Harbour Station prior to the game at 7pm that evening. This event will be open to all season ticket holders and team sponsors.
We are excited to announce the Official Sponsor for the event will be Uptown Saint John. Lucky attendees will have the opportunity to sample the delicious mini cupcakes from "Piece O' Cake", the fresh fruit and veggie arrangements from "Blossoms" and exciting new features from "Decimal 81".
The event will be a "Meet and Greet" style cocktail reception. Coach Jaren Jackson, NBA Champion and former San Antonio Spur will speak briefly and guests will have the chance to mingle with Coaches.
Don't miss this exclusive "behind the scenes" opportunity to see how the players and dancers prep for a game. They will also have the opportunity to chat with some of the players and dance team during warmup.
Due to the announcement, we are extending the RSVP deadline to Wednesday, Feb. 22nd at 1pm. Please RSVP by emailing astansfield@millratsbasketball.ca, subject line RSVP with intended number of guests accompanying you.
Guests are asked to use the East Entrance at Harbour Station. A cash bar will also be on site.
Directly following the VIP event, the Mill Rats take on the Oshawa Power at 7pm. Game theme is set to "Michael Jackson Night". Come watch the Mill Rats fight to hold their playoff spot against the Power who is challenging opponent, having won their last 4 games.
The Mill Rats hold onto fourth place en route to playoffs, 15-17 while the Power are in fifth place, 14-19.
