Saint John Riptide News Release
(Charlottetown, PEI): The Saint John Mill Rats arrived in Charlottetown last night to be rested for tonight's Game 5, winner-take-all showdown against the Island Storm at the Eastlink Centre at 7PM.
A fan bus of 55 Mill Rats fans, the "6th Man" is in en route to Prince Edward Island to help cheer on the team in hostile territory!
Each team in the series has won both of their home games, setting up a 5th and deciding game. Since the Storm were the #2 seed, they get to host the final game to decide which team advances to the Atlantic Division Championship series against the #1 Halifax Rainmen.
"This game is for our playoff lives and to keep our season going," said Mill Rats Head Coach Julian King. "The good news is we've gotten our rest and we are ready for the challenge. It won't be easy against a great team like the Storm, but I like our chances."
