ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. ¬"Minor League Baseball President Pat O ¬â¢Conner issued the following statement about the ongoing disasters in Japan today:
Minor League Baseball sends our thoughts and prayers to the players, coaches and people of Japan as they deal with a series of disasters at home.
Our teams, owners and fans are known for stepping up in the face of disaster.
¬ÅWe are glad to be able to facilitate contributions to the American Red Cross through our websites to assist in their relief efforts and look forward to offering assistance in any way we can. ¬Â
