2011 SWB Yankees Promtions Unveiled

Moosic, PA - There is something for everyone on the 2011 Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees schedule from fireworks, to giveaways, to outstanding special entertainment and several games featuring NEPA organizations and groups. The fun gets underway in 2011 on April 13th with opening night at PNC Field as the four time defending IL North Division Champion SWB Yankees host the Buffalo Bisons beginning at 6:35 PM.
The promotional calendar in 2011 features post game fireworks shows, premium giveaways at the PNC Field as well as theme nights at the stadium featuring the Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, youth baseball and NEPA "Heroes" - fire, police and military personal.
Post game fireworks will light up the skies over PNC Field following 12 SWB Yankees home games in 2011: Friday, May 6th, Friday, May 20th, Friday, June 17th, Saturday, June 18th, Monday, July 4th, Friday, July 8th, Friday, July 22nd, Saturday, July 23rd, Friday, August 5th, Saturday, August 6th, Friday, August 19th and Saturday, August 26th.
The giveaway schedule begins on Friday, May 6th with SWB Yankees team hats for the first 2,000 fans. The first 2,000 fans through the gates on Friday, June 3rd will receive SWB Yankees T-Shirts. Friday, July 8th features team baseballs for the first 2,000 fans in the park. Aluminum sports bottles will be available for the first 2,000 patrons on Saturday, August 6th and the giveaways conclude on Saturday, August 27th with jersey sports bags for the first 2,000 people through the gates at PNC Field.
In addition to CHAMP and the Pinstripe Patrol entertaining the PNC Field crowd at all home games; the ZOOperstars! and the Purina Incredible Dog Team will be on hand to entertain SWB Yankees fans.
Friends and Family Nights are back in again on select dates in 2011. Sponsored by Wendy's, the Friends and Family Night's at PNC Field are simply the best value anywhere in professional baseball. Yankees fans can get four SWB Yankees tickets, four limited edition SWB Yankees hats and four Wendy's value meals; a $140.00 value is available for just $29.95!
Sunday home games at PNC Field will give youngsters 12 and under getting the chance to run the bases at PNC Field, just like their favorite SWB Yankees!
Throughout the 2011 season, the Bud Light Bullpen will feature live entertainment as well $1.00 drafts during selected SWB Yankees home games.
