Mid-Summer Magic Deadline Extended to July 1

INDIANAPOLIS-The Indiana Blast has had so many calls from anxious teams who have not yet turned in their registration that they have decided to extend the cut-off date for registrations for the 4th Annual Mid-Summer Magic 4 on 4 Tournament scheduled for July 13-14. All team registrations MUST be postmarked or submitted on-line no later than Monday, July 1st. You definitely don't want to miss out on the most fun you'll have all summer long.
The registration fee of $135 includes a 3-game minimum, T-shirt, tickets to the Blast vs. El Paso game on the 14th, and lots more cool stuff.

LAST WEEK-A penalty kick in the 40th minute lifted the Minnesota Thunder 1-0 over the Blast last Sunday at Kuntz Stadium.
THIS WEEK-After taking Monday off the Blast are back at practice for the entire week. Training sessions are open to both the public and the media. Contact MorSports, Inc. for practice times and venues.
UPCOMING MATCHES- The Blast will be at home against Seattle Sounders on Saturday, June 29th at 7:35pm. Gates will open at 6:30pm. It's Fanta Night at the Blast game so plan to come early and Fanta with the Blast. This event is sponsored by Coca-Cola. All games are played at Kuntz Memorial Stadium located at 1502 W. 16th Street.
UPCOMING APPEARANCES-Mark Allen, Dustin Ottesen, and Jeff Dresser will be making an appearance at the Indianapolis Zoo on Sunday, June 30th from 1:45pm-3:00pm to take part in Elephant Awareness week. There will be an autograph session immediately following the soccer shoot-out.
INDIANA BLAST SOCCER CAMPS-The Blast still have opening in several of their camps throughout Central Indiana. Space is limited and camps are filling up fast.
PLAYER ARRIVALS-The Blast are eagerly awaiting the arrival of former Mexican First Division Star Enrique Camarena. Due to Visa delays Camarena has missed the first part of the 2002 season. Recent reports indicate that Camarena will be joining the team in the next 5-10 days.
