Miami's Bahama Pro Show Names Coaches

Miami, FL. B. Ricardo Smith, Owner and GM of the new ABA Bahama Pro Show that will begin its inaugural season in Miami in November today announced that James Price as Head Coach of the team and Shawn Deveaux as Assistant Coach. "The two men are well known to both the local and national basketball community both having won local championships in the Bahamas and both having played for national titles," said Smith. "Both men bring a wealth of knowledge and experience. We are confident with these men at the helm, only good things can happen. And I am very confident that they will make us all proud and bring great credit to the ABA."

James Price began is sojourn in basketball more than 30 years ago playing recreational basketball. He has won championships in every division in the New Providence Basketball Association and won three consecutive crowns in D1 and D2 in the NPBA. He was the winningest coach for more than a decade and won four national titles. He owns the Real Deal Electronic Company and is married with four children.

Shawn Deveaux played basketball at Chattanooga State College and returned to the Bahamas where he began coaching and led his team to one NPBA championship. He has served as 4th VP of the New Providence Basketball Association and is presently with the Gaming Board for the Bahamas Government.
