Miami Morays to unveil Ford Allen Field

April 2, 2005 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Miami Morays News Release

MIAMI, FL – With the Morays home-opener set for April 2nd at the Miami Arena, the Moray players will be playing on the newly unveiled Ford Allen Field.

Successful in the field of private equity, Ford Allen has now joined with the Miami Morays on their quest to dominate the fields on which they play in the National Indoor Football League.

Headquartered close to the home of the Morays in Miami Beach, Ford Allen is headed by its founder and CEO, Clifford Grossman. The company's focus remains the same as it has been since its founding in 1998, namely to bring a synergistic approach to investment by leveraging both seasoned management and financial capital, fully exploiting the relationship between the two to assist emerging growth companies, both startups and well established ventures, in an effort to execute upon a strategy of sustained and measured growth often leading to a presence on the US public markets, a luxury formerly enjoyed by only the largest of American companies and in so doing helping to "level the playing field" for its clients.

In addition to sponsoring the field on behalf of Ford Allen, Grossman has taken an equity position in the Morays becoming a co-owner of the team. With his share, Grossman joins with Gadsden, HP Patterson, and Howard Leonhardt in their stewardship of Miami's newest and most exciting sports franchise – the Miami Morays.

"My philosophy in business has always been the same – if you want to do well you must associate with winners. I have known Oronde for some time now, and he has always been both a winner and an inspiration to those around him in all his ventures," Clifford Grossman said. "This is exciting for me to be involved with the Morays and to help bring another winning sports team to South Florida, and it is energizing to see Oronde back in his element."

"For as long as I have known about Ford Allen, they have been one of the leaders in the business world," Oronde Gadsden said. "So I am excited to have Cliff on board, and to see this team playing on Ford Allen Field all season long."

The Miami Morays home opener is April 2nd at 7:00 PM at the Miami Arena against the Lubbock Gunslingers. Tickets are available at the Miami Arena Box Office or through Ticketmaster.
