MIAMI, April 3, 2007 - Miami FC and the Montreal impact have now played 270 minutes straight without producing a goal for either side. The two sides tied 0-0 on Tuesday evening at Las Palmas Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale. The scoreless streak began in the first game of the season last year and continued when the two 2006 USL-1 playoff participants again failed to score a goal on May 28th last season.
The game saw Chiquinho de Assis try some new players as the team comes closer to opening day on April 15th at Tropical Park Stadium, against the Rochester Rhinos.
