Miami FL- After playing three road games, Miami FC returns to USL-1 action hosting the Austin Aztex this Sunday, July 14th at 8pm at Lockhart Stadium. The Blues are coming off a controversial loss to the 2008 USL-1 Champions, the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Aztex lost to the Puerto Rico Islanders on Friday Night 3-1. The team will then travel to Cleveland to play back to back games against the City Stars. Miami beat the Cleveland City stars 3-0 on Opening Night at Lockhart Stadium.

"This is the most important stretch to our season, we have to get some points to position ourselves to make the play-offs, but at the same time we have to focus on US Open Cup. After the fight that I saw out of our guys at Vancouver I feel confident that we will take care of business," said General Manager Luiz Muzzi.

Miami FC will not be able to count on offensive midfielder, Leo Inacio Nunes, after he received a double booking in the game against the Whitecaps. Also unavailable is center defender, Facundo Erpren, who is suffering from a light stress fracture in his right foot and will be out four to six weeks.

The Austin Aztex is one of two new franchises to the USL and is currently in 8th place with 10 points. They are winless on the road conceding 4 goals per game. This will be the first time these two clubs meet.
